I’m taking a quick break from the usual nonsense you read here to share some news.
I’m excited to announce the launch of Long Résumé, a new blog for workers aged 50 and older!
Older workers face unique challenges :
- Ageism.
- The need to prove the value of our skills and experience in a job market where younger (less-expensive) workers are preferred.
- The threat AI poses to our careers.
- Life challenges and family responsibilities outside of work.
It’s a lot to grapple with.
Long Résumé will cover these topics, offer helpful advice, and delve deeply into the reality of being an older worker in this challenging time.
Along the way, I hope to spark a dialogue about the issues facing older workers and create a community where we can share, connect, and support one another. We’ll also have some fun!
